Hi All,

I finally picked up my first AM a few weeks ago. I've had some lovely cars in the past but I really am blown away by how beautiful these cars are! Pictures below make me smile every time I look at them! :-)

So, my first question. I'm sure I’m being paranoid as it's my new toy and my wife says I’m nicer to it than i am to her! There is a rather large build-up of carbon on the exhaust tips which is quickly replaced after cleaning. I seem to remember something about there being an issue with oil breathers or something? Is excessive carbon build up in exhaust something I should be reporting to AM AUC?

Bonjourno Keegs....lovely car....any pics taken since you picked it up from the Dealer ????

Talking of which, the first port of call for ANY issue is your Dealer. You've paid for the advice and warranty if required so use it smile

PCV Valves are what your refering to. Easily checked by seeing if there is oil in the air inlet pipes between the air filters and the throttle body.
But be warned no main dealer will replace them unless they are absolutely forced to. They will try and blame anything else to get out of doing them.

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps.

I'll post new pics soon, want to detail it before she's shown in all her glory!

How does the phone work in these? Mine was supposedly speced with a GSM phone, i assumed there would be a sim card holder somewhere but cant find it. Are they all Bluetooth?

Also, manual says the cantre arm rest lifts up but mine doesnt want to move anywhere, is it possible i dont have this option?
