driving whilst in plaster

can the resident Bib's offer an opinion on the legality of driving whilst i have my lower leg in plaster. the car will be an automatic and it's my left foot that is imobile. the consulatant said it was ok.

I've driven with my left wrist in plaster and Incorrigible drove an automatic with his left foot in plaster, both after checking with our insurance companies. If you don't inform your insurers and have an accident...

Other than that..shouldn't be too much of a problem in an automatic transmission car..

but then i am going stir crazy with only the cat to talk to during the day.

thanks for the info, car bought insurance arranged all set for a return to work next monday.
