I have been doing trackdays for over 10 years and the most exciting session ever was at Trax last year.
Driving standards weren't too bad.
Here is the session, hope it is as much fun this year.

MGB's have no right being that fast
I remember seeing you last year, you were there with another MGB that wasn't quite as fast as yours.
My dad had one for a bit when I was a kid and I loved it, still a great looking car.
I've also got 3 sessions but need to look what time they are.
If I see you this year I'll come and say hello.

No tracktime but looking forward to a great day and seeing the TimeAttack cars on track.Has been a bloody good day out for the last two years.
Me too, didn't go last year but went the year before that & been going for a good few years now, I always enjoy the day & I know it has a reputation for being Chavtastic but I just enjoy the wide range of motors to look at.Like you I am looking forward to the TimeAttack motors.

Good fun but very busy on track! Unsure what on earth the Metro was doing on track. Fair enough everyone has to have a go but the speed differential was dangerous. Session ended early due to spin from the red Civic at the end throwing grass / mud onto the track.
Thanks to the people in more powerful cars that let me past. So frustrating to be all over someone in the corners then get left for dead whenever it straightens out.

I like all the info you get on the screen very clever.

The Metro was chuffing annoying.
Was the Mondeo a silver one with black headlights? Did it have problems on track?
That's the one and no problems I just backed right off a couple of times to keep away from the imminent carnage up ahead and practice taking some bends flat out rather than getting held up. Needs more power as so often I'm left on the straights only to be held up on the corners. Was the Mondeo a silver one with black headlights? Did it have problems on track?
It's a bit heavy too really. The tyres were beginning to overheat after 15 mins and I burnt my hand on the rear alloy trying to get an idea how hot the brakes were. Brakes get incredibly warm but didn't think the outside edge of the wheel would get that hot that quickly. I was being quite harsh on them anyway braking late and hard to see how they held up.
Had Vredstein ultrac sessanta on the front which did a good job but as pic below the Goodyear eagle asymmetric 2's on the rear were starting to get a bit warm.
