I've decided this is the coolest car in the world. I must buy one but it has to be RHD.

Haha. They were cheap sure. So was my house 10y ago. Even more so 20y ago. I like cars for driving, not investing.

The M3 CSL came out about 10 years after the 64RS - maybe that is the one to catch in good time. However, I do prefer the 64RS in Guards red please.

CSL is a fantastic car. Had one for 8y. But they too have suddenly climbed. However, I don't think this market will go up forever. But as always, I just stick to buying what I love. Then what the values do after that is less important.

That's the joy of the old RS's. it is relatively simple and inexpensive to create almost exactly the same driving experience from a standard C2

Id like an RS in Star Ruby / Rubystone, even if everyone thought that it was an RS America.

In fact, Id be happy enough with an RS America.

Cool colour. For me, I know I like a car when I'm not that bothered what colour it comes in. As with the 964, it looks cool in almost every colour. Its boring but I love it in black or blue too. But I'm not fussy.
