Running a 1985 3.2 Carrera 2 everyday

I've just seen a car for sale that's making me question my sanity. What are the things to look out for on these vehicles? Any major common issues? How would it cope living outside and being used daily?

IF it's all been done well and the £60,000 has been good value spent with the right people then it could be an excellent car (though worth under half what it cost at best), hard to tell without any detailed photos & documentation of the build.

Wow, that interior looks like a real botch job, creases around the speedo, off centre screen in the dash, original heater controls repositioned, fold down rear seat back prevented from folding down by having fabric/leather covering their top corners WTF?!).
Given the dashboard frame is part of the car's shell I would imagine it'd be very hard to put it back to standard too. Actually, if the dash has been hacked out, will this affect the shell's rigidity/safety?
Spend your £20,000 on a good standard car and use it every day, look after it properly then sell it for the same or more when you're done, or spunk your money on this one and struggle to get £10k for it later, your choice......
