Any idea what power-pack/supply I need for my aforementioned wheel please?

Have looked on Fanatec support http://eu.fanatec.com/RacingWheels/Porsche%20911%2... and they don't sell them separate, ditto for Ebay.

Any idea if there are 3rd party ones that are the same power/amps/watts rating & connection please?

it'll be 3 years old this christmas so I guess that makes it a V1.

no idea of the difference. looking at that GTplanet its 24v and 2.5A.

this is on Amazon. Genuine LG so it wont blow up.

Cheers Graham, I wonder if my Logitec power supply will run it?
That is 24v and the same connector size.

I won't buy anything just yet smile

Edit: is that a UK mains plug?

Sorry if ive misunderstood.
If you look on the bottom of the unit it will give the required power\amps it needs.
Unless the sticker has been picked off.

The psu on the logitech gt is 24v, but only 0.75 amps.
So isnt manly enough to run the other wheel.

Excellent, I'll post a picture of the label tonight then smile
It'd be great if someone can guide me towards the right one for it.

Looking at that it only needs half an amp, the 2.5 supply will blow the snot out of it.
The fantec is need 500 milliamps, the other adoptor will deliver 2500 milliamps.

The gt wheel psu is closer in spec, it delivers 750 milliamps, i would try that.

Odd, so the wheel says it takes 0.5A but Carmo's Fanatec supplied power supply is 24v 2.5a...

You realise you have to pay for it to call it yours wink

right.....

Reckon the power 24v dc lead will be ok on either a 1.25A or the 2.7A will be ok provided the polarity of the centre pin is correct as it will only draw the amperage that it needs.

Your 0.75A one will work but might get hot.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/buy-batteries-and-power/po...

Ref the pedal adaptor.... I cant see why a standard PS2 to serial adaptor wont work?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pin-Serial-Female-Mouse-Ad...

Dont order anything yet chris as im going to check with the IT guys at work.

Why will it, if its only drawing 0.5A its well within its spec range.
