Anyone know how to get this working on a 2008 Vantage (DVD based system)? There is a settings menu for it, where I can select which announcements I want, but there is no station selected. In map view, there are never any alerts given or messages to read. I'm UK based by the way.

The manual suggests TMC was an option (in addition to SatNav???), but I figure I must have it otherwise I wouldn't see the menu options.

Another quickie... The SatNav menu shows the time and date, but I can't find a way to change it to the correct one.

Thanks.

Traffic problems show up in mine, but TMC was a 280 € extra in addition to the SatNav (in 2008) - so you might as well not have it.

May be worth checking with a dealer - they can easily provide a list of extras in your car if you provide your VIN.

Didn't know you had an 08 Vantage Mr H ???

Seriously though, Andy, you could look at updating your disc like I did on the DB9. If nothing else at least it gave me a full postcode search facility. Just did the same to the X5 Sat nav disc smile

As Neil says - doesn't work in the UK due to licensing issues!
I think it was activated from MY2010 onwards (my 2010 has it). One would think it could be activated somehow, perhaps by patching a recent UK DVD, as it must be software controlled.

works on HDD system, not on DVD system in the UK for the reasons already stated.

TMC was activated in the UK via the 2010MY software update to the HDD system smile
