Anyone bought one recently if so and you don't mind telling me how much did you pay for one ?

£20 - £25 or there abouts, not sure if that's a good price, I needed it immediately. I think it's on the pricey side.

IIRC about £8 for a Chim. That said, bu99er all to the Chim switch and £8 seems expensive for what you actually get.

Cannot comment on the S switch having never seen one.

Hmmm... that sounds better, depends on whether you can wait for one or not.

Drop Shnozz a line - he bought one recently for his Chim.

Hasty edit to add - I do not know if the Chim switch is interchangeable with the S switch. Unless they use identical wiper motors, very unlikely. Shnozz's supplier might, however, stock S compatible units at a more Chim-like price.

I wasnt aware of S's having wiper park switches, I must say.

I got mine from TMS/TVR gear. The Chim ones are renowned for breaking as they are in the firing line for water running down from the windscreen. As such, they keep them in stock. £8 as Soton S2 says.

I think the S wiper motor is from a mini. If the park switch has gone (would be worthwhile checking any multi-block connectors behind the dash before ordering one), DNS Classics should be able to supply one.

Hope this helps.

The S motor is from a mini, but it is not a direct replacement. The main gearing and worm drive has to be switched over. Probably worth greasing it all up and giving it a good service before reassembling.
