Hey everyone,

I will apologise now if there is a section that this should be in.

My name is Liz, I live in North Yorkshire. I have two classic minis. I love all things cars, especially classic cars. Come here to meet some interesting people with similar likes and hopefully attend some local meets.

Hi Liz,

Lots of fun things happen here in the Yorks forum. Quite a few of us are in NY, I'm near Skipton and quite a few around here and over to Harrogate.

I've organised classic car runs out with folks from here, always fun, will probably try another soon (once my latest project is finished.)

The Classics part of the forum is worth a look, as is the specific classic Mini bit.

Hi Liz, a shameless plug for Ilkley and District motor club.

http://www.ilkleymotorclub.org.uk/

If you fancy some days or evenings out doing motorsport stuff, car trials, autotests, navigational scatters, 12 car rallies and the like. There's a few of us on here go out and play on a regular basis. The Mini's would fit right in, none damaging stuff for the most part and easy for beginners to get involved.

Hello Liz, as Ben says, we do have some quite random meets... he can't keep up on mine but makes up for it by trying to break my car on his smile

But... more importantly... Stainless Steve! Bloody hell mate, where have you been hiding? I still have fond memories of PistonFest 2004... 4am donuts and your missus; "Baileys ok?... here's half a pint"!

Happy days smile

Where do you post the local meets usually? Is there a particular thread or area I have to watch or do you put a new thread up for every meet?

Welcome Secret Sugar, lovely pair of Mini's you have there. Might see you at Lotherton this Sunday, look out for the really old and tired 928 with funkadelic upholstery!

Welcome from fellow Classic Mini owner wavey

As said, the Classics section of the forum is definitely worth a look - the Mini section is quieter but still has some decent topics from time to time. Two lovely Minis you have there smile
