PAS steering rack gaiters

Another job for me - replace a gaiter. Looked on the 'flea, these Ford Cortina PAS ones look fairly close - right diameter on each end - but is 145mm length long enough? The one I took off seems to be 180mm but maybe it's stretched over time.

I think the original ones are fairly short: in the past when I've fitted the Universal aftermarket things they're a mile too long and keep turning themselves inside-out, which makes them split faster.

Bugger - as there were no replies last night I ordered the Universal ones! Still they were cheap so will do for the day of the MOT....

I've now been looking at Ford Ka PAS gaiters - these might be just right. Prices from a tenner to £45 a pair! That's optimistic....

Hi Adam, Sorry i was trying to find part numbers from when i bought mine but no joy...I do recall them being for a cortina mk4/5 though but they were quite long..Ziga
