G-meter in the f10 lci idrive

I`ve been blow away with tech on the idrive of my m5 lci, but:-

Anybody know how to find this feature or is it competition pack only? It`s on the lci bmw you tube video of the new car when the guy goes around a track? Plus is there stuff on it like % of power being used etc like i`ve been told is on the m135i

just studied the clip and it looks like it is in bmw connected apps. I must have a more in depth play and see how to download this feature

I downloaded this today along with My BMW Remote. Got to resist the temptation to open these apps until the car arrives.

The remote app is (according the website) able to remote control certain functions within the car such as heating & cooling. Now that's what i call cool as fk

I'm sure I read in the blurb somewhere that you can actually start the car remotely from one of these apps?

I have remote app working on my pre LCI car and it only allows you to lock/ unlock your car and flash the headlights three times, it will also locate your car if you are with 1.5 miles of the car.... There is a slight delay between making the request and the action being carried out.

The LCI car might allow more functions?

On a freezing scottish morning being able to remotely start the car and get the electric seats warming would be pretty cool!
