For those that like nothing else than peurile behavior, I need help. Some of you will be aware of the growing trend in naming 'post op' BR vehicles in order to reflect their magnificence. Well, I'm soon to be in the enviable (for some) position of receiving such a motor (assuming the world doesn't drop out of my trousers) and I thought it only right and proper that the mob who are directly responsible for duping my darling wife with tales of increased fuel economy (yeah, right) and enhanced safety in overtaking should be offered the chance to christen my new addition.

Well as a pilot this is apt. Your Vantage will be the best it can be with BR mods, so why not pick the name of something that is generally regarded as the best it can be and probably the best in the world:

I like your thinking pal, very deep. What about 'Spitfire'? Iconic, highly regarded as a classic, a joy to operate and it will breath fire....and the sound of that Merlin engine will rival the BR magic.

Ah but surely BR represents the latest, modern thinking. That said, if BR can tune you up so that you have enough un-burnt fuel in the exhausts to actually spit fire, then Spitfire would be very apt
