Rea broken leg

Nasty crash for Rea and Camier at Germany WSB race. No oil flags at all! Camier ok, but Rea has broken femur so season pretty much over.

Was watching web on Sunday,that was a horrible crash. Almost lucky that's all he Broke.

A Pedercini kwak went bang big time- same as Tom Sykes a while back. You could see the oil pouring straight out the side of the motor.

Possibly all happened before Marshalls has time to react.

They are quite rightly getting slated, Sandi's Kawasaki blew up and he went down when the 4 leaders were about half a lap behind, you might have noticed the on screen message that he had crashed out. That's when it happened. The marshal's post at the crash corner did wave a yellow, but not a red/yellow for oil and it had happened so long before the leaders got to it Lundh's bike was off the track and the marshal's post was waving a green flag to signal all clear.

The Nurburgring has a nasty habit of having poor marshalling (non-British marshals).


Ps. Sandi's Kawasaki was crashing at around 42m50s, message flashes up at 42m52s. Leaders were just exiting turn 3.

The guy in the camera tower was lucky, looked like camiers bike would have ended up on his lap if it had been a bit further to the right.

Didn't Edwards wave the oil flag himself in the end???

Lol yeah more or less. He throws some 'oil cement' down, with a few Texan F's and C's thrown in! Cant beleive the marshals can just stand there and watch.

Horrible crashes. So lucky not to be hit be camiers bike too or to be worse off.. Femur is a nasty one as it is.
