Runs for over an hour, but their conclusion is at 1:14.00 - goes to show you don't have to buy a GT3 or Turbo to get a great 911.

And all the experts on here repeatedly claim that "driver's cars" need rear wheel drive and manual gearboxes.

Sounds like the GT3 would have won by a country mile!!

Agree about Randy Pobst. Saw him at Goodwood a couple of years ago. Terrific record as a racer.

If he says it's the best driver's car, it comes highly recommended IMO.

Just changed my 997.1 C2S for a 997.2 C4S PDK with sport plus and does it go !! Have heard that they are as quick as a 996 turbo and can well believe it, phenominal machine, sitting in the garage with it and a beer and a v big grin.

Yep, his commentary on the mp4-12c as he ragged its backside around laguna seca was excellent.

He is a bloody quick peddler around that track as well.

Arguing about what is the best drivers car is pretty pointless.

Also, one persons opinion does not make it fact.

On some roads a little 120bhp lotus Elise will be a far superior drivers car compared to say a Carrera GT. On some roads in certain conditions a 4WD will be better than other 2WD. FWD will shine on occasions a big BHP supercar struggles along a type of road. Etc etc etc....

One person may love a car and another person hate it for their own reasons.

Electric steering... What is Porsche doing, they know nothing.

PDK GT3, come on men, we storm weissach in the morning.

Put a 993 in the test, that would surely have won. I read it on this forum, it is the greatest Porsche and is absolutely the best at everything.
