W210 injectors not firing, ideas please
Discussion
Hi.
I have a friend who's petrol E230 W210 won't start. His wife thought it had run out of fuel so he put a can in but it still wouldn't fire. I have had a look and it has sparks and good fuel pressure at the regulator but nothing on the plugs despite cranking for a while. I poured a bit of fuel into the engine and it fired very briefly.
Any one know what drives the injector signals, what sensor should I be looking at. Or does any one have any other good ideas.

Sorry about the multi posting, that 3 times today
Why do I feel you're mocking us?The car is firing the coils but not the injectors, any clues? Sorry, maybe I should ask a more precise question. Does the crank sensor fire the ignition and the cam sensor fire the injectors?

No way am I mocking anyone, no point in that and I am sorry.
You have the 111 engine, not the cam sensor as some unplug that when the cam magnet gets noisy, and the engines run fine with it unplugged.
You do have a few fuses for the engine ECU, I will take a read on the injectors shortly and see If I can find anything
