Distance from postcode function in the classifieds

I reported this as not working in a classifieds thread here a good while ago and it still isn't working. Could someone fix it soon please? The classifieds are as good as useless without IMO.

How are you setting the filters?

I type my postcode, select my variables to narrow my search - usually for a specific model then adjust to distance from postcode.

Do you then "sort by distance from postcode"?

Doesn't work for me either now. I set the postcode and distance from and when I click show results I get the whole world and my postcode disappears

It hasnt worked for me for ages either,thats the reason i tend not to use it so much nowadays.

Odd. I've just tried this and it's working fine for me. Selected make/model, price range, then entered postcode and distance. Search returned the expected number of records. I tried changing the distance and the results changed accordingly. Even playing with sort order didn't break it.

Wonder if it's a browser specific issue - I'm using Chrome.

No I hadn't. Now I've selected nationwide and it works as you would want it too.

I have to say, that isn't clear at all and I'm clearly not the only one to fall foul of it.

You'd think it would just order them closest to you post code without having to select a distance from.

Thanks for pointing that out but I wonder how many people have already been turned away by such a simple over-sight.
