Plane Ditched In/Near English Channel

Just heard from a friend on FB that he's been diverted enroute to Sark, currently searching for a ditched Aircraft in thick fog.

Anyone heard anything?

Now on the BBC website. Appears a Cesna en route to Jersey from France has ditched a few miles from Jersey airport.

A friend of mine is on a ferry heading to Sark & is now involved in the search process. Hope all are safe!!

The marine traffic and ship finder APPS and website show all the ships and helicopter involved in the search.

Helpful of the bbc to include a picture of some fog just incase we weren't sure what it looked like... Hope they find the occupants ok.

BBC website updated that both onboard the Cesna have died
