When I turn the key the rev counter and speedometer go right up to max then kind of stay there then drop again but nothing - not even fuel pump priming. It can't be the bloody battery already, can it??? I only replaced it 10 months back!

And now to cap it all it seems I've locked myself out of the damn thing so I can't do anything anyway! Do I have to break a window to get in or what??

Man I'm fed up...

I had a similar problem in the Dax, I turned the key and the rev counter just danced about and then got "stuck" at max RPM.

Afraid to say it was the battery.

Cheers
