Oh, what a lovely runabout that would be cloud9

If only I needed or could even vaguely justify such a thing frown

If it was manual, I'd sprint it with AMOC yes

With that auto, and perhaps a different supercharger pulley, what a lovely and rapid waft to work that would be. Air-con not working is a MASSIVE alarm bell ringer though, especially with the very low mileage; if condensor seals, it's a few thousand pound job. Happens when they aren't used enough frown

Looks great value at the moment - what kind of running costs would one reasonably want to set aside for such a car?

Under 3k per year? That's low mileage.

Bear in mind normal people use their cars for purposes other than impresssing teenage girls in boob tubes, working towards aspirational career choices.

Normal people drive them smile

You're becoming a parody of yourself biglaugh

Depends if all is well.

If nothing is needed to get it perfect, then standard servicing at Chiltern Aston would be about 600-1000 a time. But it will have a 6 month service interval don't forget!

Parts are not too expensive, there really is a lot of Jaguar in there.

Fair point... I never thought of the age of it! But still 50k isn't exactly low mileage.

Yes it is....

My jeep just rolled over 125000 miles today, uses no oil or water, and I'd happily jump in it and drive to Russia...

Wow that is a long way.
I thought you lived in north west England, George.
Try a more direct route next time, and it might be quicker.

Also a fair point; perhaps 'low useage' or 'annual low mileage' would be a better term?

Looks like a very tidy car, If I were still looking I would definitely have gone for this. These will go up in value, so good cars are an investment.

£12.3k now...

It's obviously a decent car and it's finding its value now. That's more than I'd shell out for a runabout smile

If it was still £6k... scratchchin

This looks like a beautiful car and a great investment. I agree with the seller's comment that the headroom is a bit tight. The value can only rise if it sells anywhere near this level.
