Any of you clever chaps know the answer to this?

Take one 2006 RR and one road bike. Remove front and rear wheels from the road bike. Will the frame fit in the back of the RR with the rear seats still in place? Doesn't matter whether the frame is standing upright or lying on its side.

TIA.

it depends on how big the road bike is:-

a 125 is a lot smaller than a 1200 bmw

Mountain Bike, 26" frame, no. Not easily without twisting the handlebars sideways.

Medium Boardman Roadie - 55cm frame, Yes.

For reference, 2006 RR 4.2 Vogue SE with Charcoal Leather laugh

I have a 19" Trek which goes in the boot of mine, it only goes in one way but once it's in you can shut the tailgate and leave the parcel shelf in place so it's out of sight.

I often do this when I'm away overnight for work, means I can get some exercise instead of just parking up in the hotel bar!

Picked up the RRSC yesterday. It swallowed my roadie easily. Both wheels off and the rear seats still in place.

Also tried my Bikeboxalan in it today. Also swallowed with the rear seats in place.

Quite nice, driving around in an RR. Imperious is the word that keeps coming to mind.
