So last night I'm sat at a hotel bar in Harrisburg Pensylvania and find the two young guys that have just sat next to me are also Brits.
They are Unipart employees and are here because they are setting up a spare parts depo for Jaguar.
After a few minutes talking, one asked me what I drive.
When I answered, his response was "what's a TVR, is it from Rover"?
All I could say was "Ah"?

He could have slapped my face with a kipper.
I get and understand this from the Yanks but from two, working in the industry, Brits it seemed a bit dumb.
Maybe its just me.

That was exactly what I was thinking.

And yes, one of them did come over as a complete bell. The other one was a little less vacant.
