Well what a change....I know how it feels,

Weight loss:
97kg to 86kg

Timescale:
Achieved in 3 months

Age:
It's secret but >50

Height:

5'11"

Method:

5/2 AF diet
Cycling and swimming (but had been doing that before the AF diet anyway)

Bad diet:

Not a lot. Didn't eat much refined carbs - no potatoes, some rice, some bread, a reasonable amount of booze, very little pasta and almost no processed foods. Basically just more than I needed!

Good diet: As above but even less rice, bread, pasta and no processed foods. Haven't quite cracked the booze yet but two days a week with none at all seems to have had an impact.

Now in maintenance mode but would aim at loosing another 2kgs in the autumn.

PS: Always been a lardy b*****d, currently at my lowest weight since I was in my early teens. SWMBO has never known me so lean and mean biggrin

Sorry no pics!

lol It sounds absolutely like you've been training with me (minus the moaning about having bad DOMS, but me reiterating that all DOMS are good, so there is no such thing as 'good' or 'bad' DOMS, there is only DOMS), but I must confess, I forget the moments! smile

I shake the hand of you and your trainer for being exactly on my level (it's a rare thing)...

I went from 14st7lb to 13st earlier this year following a bit of inspiration from a ph thread.

Didn't go near as gym just got strict with the calories and cut down the booze. Kept it off despite an all inclusive holiday and numerous traumas this year has thrown our way! Couple of lb crept back on in the last month so planning another little splurge.

Overall nowhere near as bad with diet and booze as I was.

Weight loss -- 128kg to 83kg (approx, haven't been on the scales for a month or two but that was last time and I haven't got fatter). Only downer is that I'm still flabby frown.

Timescale -- Too long, unfortunately. Over 3 years, but less than 4

Age -- Begins with 4

Height -- Bottom end of 6'+

Method -- Pretty much diet. Do what exercise I can, but broken body (certain parts) and lack of time mean that what I do probably just about counteracts the bad diet. Would be handy to be able to do more & know that if I could, the change would be far faster & more dramatic.

Bad Diet -- Sugary stuff, beer and occasional serious crap eating sessions

Good Diet -- Protein & salad. You can eat a fair old amount for not that many calories (and decent amount of protein, rather than Scott-shake smile, for example).

Frustrations -- Lack of time, overly efficient body & broken body furious. Works very well for me in other ways, but damn frustrating when 20 miles on a bike, for example, requires multiple co-codamol type consumption. Could be worse, but could be seriously better!

Guess I should be fairly happy, on balance

Feck off, you fat, young bd smile

Bulking is easy (and I only tried very, very inadvertently), albeit with great, but horribly wrong, results. Ditching the wobbly bits is a touch more challenging!

In the first picture, the person on the left with long black hair in a lime coloured dress...is it a man in drag?

Hope it's not your wife.smile

Excellent work OP.

Its threads like this that drives the ambition to shed the pounds.

Absolutely hated getting my photo taken when I was fat so I am close to 15 stone here. Ended up being 15 and a half stone.

I dropped to 12 stone.

Healthy eating and just looking after myself more.

I also stopped ordering two kebabs. One for when I was pissed and one for when I woke up for breakfast?!

Ages 21:

Method: Healthy eating and moving more

Bad Diet: eat far to many kebabs and loved beer!
