Due to a combination of holiday, bad weather & working away, I havn't used my Chim. for over 4 weeks & I can't get in. The battery is totally dead so no power to unlock door / switch off alarm.
Any ideas as I'm desperate, getting symtoms of withdrawal even as I type this. Need a 'fix' of driving after 4 weeks its serious.

If you're going to leave the car unused for so long then you should put a battery conditioner, remote jump start leads, and/or battery isolator on your Christmas present list.

why do you post twice, once with the answer, and then again suggested it will allow people to nick our chimaeras? different user IDs - same profile?

I do wish you guy's would realise that a public forum IS NOT the place to advertise the techniques of emergency entry into a TVR or any other vehicle for that matter.

This is the second post in this thread I have had to clean up today.

Remember it could be your car that some scrote breaks into because of what he read on these forums.

Thanks Al.
