Has anyone got a spare centre console window switch? My friends elbow destroyed the passenger one over the weekend and I don't want to pay for my local Dealers summer holiday, I did manage to remove the fingernail marks out the dash though!

I was having the alarm installed at a place that also fitted after market electric windows, the switches were the same. Both mine on an A reg were knackered £2.50 odd a throw.

Mines an 81, same switches as the ones on Page 108 of the bible. I would appreciate at contact number for the company you visited, I can get a bag full at that price.

It was about 9 or so years ago but a thought of the route you could take to get them. Switch in hand and does it match etc. Not sure if they exist anymore, the company that is

TR7 probably. Rimmer Bros will have them if you can't get one from TVR. Worth checking with them just in case.

Thanks for your help guys.

Steve,

While your on air, is anyone doing poly trailing arm bushes or is it better staying with rubber and getting the mod stays. I'm hillclimbing the car so no worries about road comfort.

Cheers....

A couple of years ago I was at a lucas dealer replaceing a couple of my switchs. It appeared that another car which used these switchs was the early lotus esprit.
I know that some of the switchs were available and others discontinued, sorry can't remember which.
Try a lucas dealer.

Not totally sure. I think the way forward is to rosejoint the things but it is incredible expensive!
I would probably go with stays but check the regs as that may dump you out of class as it is a suspension mod. Steve
