This is about 1 mile from my house, and my OH is currently trying to get home from Pudsey. A65 is closed, apparently it's utter chaos!

Anyone else effected? I'm driving home later but not until 9:30pm, but apparently it's been ablaze since 3pm so may well still be issues later.

About a mile from me too.
Picked the kids up from Rawdon school and noticed the smoke.

Looks extremely nasty.

A65 is closed from horsforth to rawdon roundabouts ans you can see smoke from all over leeds. Queues back to pool bank and into leeds

It's a nightmare! Trying to get to Otley, checked on google maps traffic and found a quieter route back towards Leeds and up through headingley. Apparently they will be fighting this all night so there will be big delays closer to the scene I should think! Good luck!

I live between these two roundabouts!

I'm sure I'll find a way!

At about 5.30 the queue around the ring road went back past Owlcoats in Pudsey - fortunately I bailed through Bradford which sucked but nothing new there! Wish I'd checked here first.

I was slightly stuck in it as going to trinity and all saints, but some of the kids I was supposed to be coaching got really stuck in it and didn't bother coming.

Headed back home via brownberrie lane and the road to murgatroyds at about 8.00 and all was fine

I had assumed no injuries as it would have been reported when it was on the news if they're had been.

It does look bad, feel sorry for everyone that works there. I regularly see a lot of people heading in in the morning.

Glad everyone is okay. Good luck with the future.

Here in Calverley could clearly see the fire across the valley, from the house, heavy smoke still billowing at 8pm, must have caused Fri rush hour mayhem so glad I was home.

I live in calverley and I went to pick my boy up from school at 3.15, seeing the smoke I didn't think for a minute it'd be our building.

How has today panned out Ubbs?
Passed the building this morning and it looked very damaged but I understand a lot has been saved.

Hi, the websites been updated and they've told us to stay at home and I went up on Saturday to have a look, all the top half of the building has been gutted and is unsafe that's where most of the production takes place, downstairs is where the press shop and paint plant are at the moment their looking for a suitable factory so we can start some production so fingers crossed,
