Good investment potential? Where do they think they will go really?

Completely agree with Mattt, they must be top of their game right now.

Surely the Sagaris can only go one way! Can anyone see the prices dropping dramatically ?

Interesting, when they asked if they could use my Sag the article was to be cars you could buy, use and hope to have little depreciation on in the process.

From the opening of the article:-
They are cars to drive in the knowledge that their values aren't going to plummet and may well do exactly the opposite.

Not many of us buy cars as an investment so if we can buy, use and not be hit by huge depreciation then surely thats a bonus. The sag would need to make me around £40,000 to offset the depreciation on the other 6 TVR's I've had but that was never the point of buying it.
When I did buy mine the values were going down and I fully expected it to carry on that way, instead I have had a great experience and it has made a few quid hopefully.

I can see values holding, and they're a good place to put money - but can't see six figures.

Would agree but then who would have seen what value the Jag E types would be fetching these days compared to their original cost.

Before this discussion heads towards the dreaded "why are Sags worth what they are when other TVRs aren't?" or the equally done to death "Sags have reached their plato in price", may I suggest you can use Google to look at the endless threads done on it in the past and not create another one? tongue out

Nothing to see here, pass along, pass along...

Don't think that was the way it was going Alex but its a discussion forum, if thats the way it heads then so be it, if you don't want to be part of that don't post comments about not going there.
Its an interesting article that looks at the possiblities of having your cake and eating it wether it be a Focus RS, Sagaris or a Diablo.
Surely any positive press for the TVR marque is to be welcomed especially when it is a respected national magazine.

October one then. Odd didn't see it when I looked at it.

Oh well, probably doesn't say anything ecstatic beyond the usual anyway.

Its the November edition, although as they do one every 4 weeks ie 13 in the year how they can still be months I don't know.
