What fire extinguisher?

Can anyone recommend a good fire extinguisher?
Not sure if I should get one that bolts to the floor in front of the passenger seat as it would be pretty difficult to reach in an emergency.
Any thoughts or experience would be greatly appreciated.
(Or any insight on a fitted engine bay system would be great too!)

Just a quick poll - does anyone know of an occasion in which a plumbed in system has successfully extinguished a fire in a ROAD car ?

I have a 2kg AFFF in the boot. I did try fitting in the car behind the drivers seat but it was too difficult to get at to be of any use. I think that inside the car the chance of it getting loose and hitting you on the head is much greater than it helping you in a fire. Its main purpose is to put someone else s car out (which i have done).
