As above, never seem to be any at dealers up this way.

Anyone have one and wouldn't mind letting me have a look around and take me for a spin?

Cheers muchly,

got a 2.8 z3 coupe. its a cruiser not a bruiser and the brakes give 2 maybe 3 very good solid stops before "turning french" but then im pretty hard on brakes. However iv found it to be a much better handling car than i thought it would be. The heater is very good for night time top down drives and the seats whilst unsupportive are comfy. Mines is an early one non facelift which does suffer heading wind and needs a rear deflector. Im unsure if it can be retro fitted to an early model but later models it was an option.

Roadster i'm assuming mate?

My uncles got a 2.2 (i think), so was particularly looking for the M Coop to see how different it is. Cheers though.

I've got an imola red one, not going to be around till November though so not sure that will be any help.

Got a thread going in readers cars section. It's tested my patience and wallet but that's mostly due to a run of bad luck and not the car....... I do like driving a car that seems so different to everything else on the road though so persevering with it and should have it back to how it was in a couple of months even if not totally original.

Bejesus that's bad luck! Feel free to PM me where all that happened.

Would like a look around it when it's all back to normal. Not tempted to make it a CSL when all the interior was out?

I love the KW's on my 964, would imagine they would be just as good on the Z3MC.

I passed a (very!) yellow one at the Forth Bridge a while ago, looked the part. I think the website on the rear window was www.z3mcoupe.co.uk or something, might be worth a peek. I've not been on it though silly

Investment whilst away. These cars are definitely appreciating in value if you buy carefully. This particular one went 3 1/2 years without a service though. Same as not often you find imola with a plain black interior

that was the newer modified one, same chap had the red and silver one. Mine was the anonymous standard silver Y plate one.

You up there often?

We've just started with the 328. A few of the Gumbaw guys clubbed in to run that for a while. Needs some more track mods. Hope we didn't hold you up too much.

It's the 6 pot in the 328 that's got me wanting to go Z3MC next. Less weight and an extra 140 horses sounds fantastic on paper.

It was probably mine you saw on a PH run.

You can look over it and take it a spin any time, midly modified with ACS supsension, Porsche cayman brakes, uprarted ARB's and ACS spoilers.

There's a blue ZM-coupe stored on the top floor of Machargs in South Street, Glasgow

However it looks like it's been there for a few years. Tyres are flat etc and it didn't have a price on screen

Was there about 6 weeks ago and it probably still is
