Completed my first Century today

Well actually 110 miles in the Pedal For Scotland Glasgow to Edinburgh sportive ride.

Completed in just over 7 hours, which isn't bad considering I haven't trained as much as I would have liked, due to my 16yr old's race schedule, and as a result I got cramp on a nasty climb at about 30 miles in.

Pretty windy and very hilly but an enjoyable day.

Off to bed now!!

Well done, I was in the challenge ride. Great day out and the weather was brilliant! Hopefully I'll do the sportive ride next year, really need to upgrade from a mountain bike to a road bike for that though

And I just found out I was 163rd out of the 619 who recorded a time.

Well chuffed with that - not bad for one who will be, ahem, 50, ahem, in 3 months.
