Check Engine Light

Hi All
Had the car parked up for a month due to holidays and had to push start it. It fired up easy enough and idled well enough. However when I went to set off for a spin I noticed the check engine light was on and it was running very lumpy. Phoned Porsche assist who are coming to take it away soon.
Should I be worried by this? I've previous experience of a low battery causing electrical gremlins but the lumpy bit worries me!

Had similar on my 997.2 C2S. Well a couple of episodes of the engine warning light and lumpy running.
From memory the first event was due to some sort of air sensor giving up the ghost.
The second was the high pressure fuel pump being shot, they also replaced a corroded vacuum pump.
All covered by the Porsche warranty so nothing really more than an annoyance.

That is what I am hoping for. I'm on a bit of a downer on the car in general at the moment. Great to drive but the maintenance seems very frequent and annoying.From memory the first event was due to some sort of air sensor giving up the ghost.

Yes but not sure if that was because I had originally bought through them about a year ago (not sure which warranty covered it).
I'm now wondering about buying one of those portable jump starters for the times when it has been left for ages.
