Comment on the Guardian review of The Dairy - the restaurant has confirmed that it happened and denies that it is any kind of publicity stunt;

Breast feeding in the middle of the dining area, nothing that would put me off my food more!! and they think it's acceptable!

Worse than the swimming pool incident...

I think its acceptable. The child was dining, in a dining area.

Just because western culture sexualises boobs doesnt mean that it should be taboo to feed an infant with them in public (it is their primary function after all), especially in an eating establishment.

Im not so sure about the drinking brandy while breast feeding though.

The breastfeeding in public isn't an issue to me, but the getting pissed with a breastfeeding child and expecting the staff to babysit while she and her friends went out for a fag are ridiculous. Rotten attitude.

I don't object to breastfeeding done discreetly (as most women seem to manage).

However I do object to militant, frizzy-haired, saggy-titted North London Earth Mothers who'll whip out their whammers at every opportunity purely because they can.

Why do the posturing lefties insist on this rubbish? Just because it is the same word it simply must be treated the same.

Presumably if I was eating a badly packed kebab I could rip the wife's knickers off...

Some supposed vile baby poisoning bint whines because she perceives others have a problem with her ste lifestyle choices.

If it is a wind-up, the restaurant is in on it!
