On Friday we hosted the Mission Motorsport Heroes Invitational Trophy at Goodwood.

I'm still overwhelmed by the support we received from drivers and car owners.

I'll let the following youtube of the day's photos speak for themselves.

Every single car on every single lap had a Mission Motorsport beneficiary onboard.

Spine tingling.

Watching an Aston DB4 GT Zagato powerslide through Lavant in the wet was quite something, as was watching a Ferrari 430 and a 66 Cobra racing one another wheel to wheel. Best day ever.

A few samples from the vid/slide show linked above.

The first photo is of L/Cpl Martyn ‘Copey’ Copleston. He arrived into RAF Brize Norton in the back of a Herc after his latest tour at 5am Friday morning. He didn't go home. 5 hours later he is being strapped into this Bugatti Type 39. In 2011 Copey's Warthog was hit by an IED in Afghanistan where he suffered shrapnel wounds and other complications.
