964 Ignition Leads

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of the Magnecor version of these? Turns out Mrs Yellowtr's needs a new set of leads and I Magnecor on the Testarossa and they seem pretty decent. One issue is no one actually has them in stock (yes even the Ebay stockists) and even Magnercor themselves don't hold it in stock.

Are there alternatives as I have heard mixed reviews on some of the other sets on the market.

Have a word with Phil de Wit (MD at Magnecor) - Tel: [phone]. He was very helpful when I was trying to source a set of leads for my 993 turbo. He had them made up for me in the end and at a very reasonable price.

Got them in the end from Bulgaria! Absolutley no one had them in the UK.

Spoke to Phil, nice chap. He quoted a 10 day plus lead time as they are made to order and I really needed them ASAP.

Good (the long overdue call!), as I am in the US at the moment, and won't be back to Tuesday week. And I was going to offer see if the Pork dealer just over the road here has/can get some.

They had a mint looking 959 outside the workshop 2 days ago.

My experience with Magnecore leads (on a TVR) is not good - multiple breakages which I had to pay for replacements, despite the guarantee. I slung the lot and bought some Moroso leads from Real Steel.
