For the Vmax stats how much was a new Griff 500 in 1996

Doesn't have to be accurate but for the anoraks:

Non Pas
half hide
no A/C
no heated seats

Basically, standard.

Also what is the real BHP and torque?
Im guessing at around 260 BHP and 270-300 lb.ft torque.

I know it varies a lot between cars but just wondering.

most people bought it as a p/x. Deposit was generally a gold medallion and enough chest hair to knit a jumper

But the money would have been exchanged with rigid wrists, not limp.

Shnozz,
Why would they give a deposit of a gold medallion and chest wig? Surely they'd have only just bought them as essential items of griff ownership.

People like you that post things when they dont really know the answer make me sick. Why dont you just get a life and stop messing around. This was a serious post and not something for you childish types to come and ruin with your silly nonsense. Get a life sado.

BTW: Hope to see you on Thursday. Persuade Clare that she is better and should go to FitClub so I can get a lift to FatClub! If not I'll have to drive up for a couple of pints of Chim instead.

1996 was a very good year for black...

Anyway, the question

The Griffs started at circa £27,000 when they first came out and finished at circa £36,000 IIRC. So my stab would be at £32k

I've just read the words "serious post" and "DustyC" in the same thread!!

Welcome back Dusty - I see you're out to break Uncle Ted's "Postometer" by seeing how quickly you can breach the 100,000 posts barrier....

Well then I'll talk in your other ear.

So Mr paid-up-TVRCC-member, how come I saw you in the pub yesterday WITHOUT your club badge on OR your mascot in the car AND letting your god daughter scribble all over the latest copy of sprint like you just didnt care?

Anyway you are not entitled to an opinion at all. This is PH, no one is!

Morniong Adam, I've had a quick look round but can't find a price at the moment. I think your best bet would be to phone Millets as they were the country's leading suppliers of 'camp' accessories in the mid-nineties!

Don't be silly!

They were more, but only because of the cost of golf club membership...

No after what happened with the Griff the increase in price was to put girlies off buying the Chim!

Right.
Firstly Mr Corin Denton, you can feck off.
Im sick and tired of your childish behavior and feel I should write yet another letter to Sprint on the disgusting acts displayed by TVR drivers to us of the Sunbeam Rapier Codger Mk111 owners club. Its people like you that ruin this place. If you cant post sensibly then don't post at all. Thats my moto.
Looking forward to that beer on the 27th Nov. Glad to hear you are coming along.

and secondly...
oh i've forgotten. I'll have to have another look.
