Cadwell TVR Track Day :)

Hi,
Great day at Cadwell with the TVR's.
Thanks so much to everyone that took me out as a passenger, given how loud mine was :/ Shorts, Redspike66 and Grahamn, and those that took the time to chat
I was looking forward to a few more passenger rides, however nausea began to set in shortly after Respike66's drive in the Sag, such a good looking car, which handled really well. This was compounded by Shorts in his yellow, bronze, gold T350, who chuckled more and more as the back end came out before the start finish straight. Then Grahamn in his 4.5 Cerb who pretty much reduced me to looking for a sick bag as he hunted down an orange sports car :P It was also funny to see mr Varley hammering it round in an Audi. There's power under that bonnet.
After getting lost on the way home and passing the entrance to Cadwell yet again, I spied Redspike66 in the distance. Time to hunt him down for a spirited drive home for the both of us, which really made the day
Great memories and good to put names to faces. A really good event, and I would recommend it to anyone else, who wants to take their car on track, talk to those that push their tvr's harder than most, or see the potential of their car through others

Yep, a great day out, and good weather too !! Thanks to all the organisers 
Not so sure I want to thank the Hyabuser-engined car that dumped oil on the track down the end of the pit straight that resulted in my 100+ mph spin tho
Thank God they chopped down that old Oak tree else there would be one less Sag today !!
Steve - your Orange T350T looked superb in my mirrors - beautiful looking car.

We were not aware of your scary incident.
However the busa engin'd car asked if he could go out again, later in day.
Had a quick look under bonnet & noticed oil cooler hose only retained by jubilee clip.
So we politely asked him to retire for the day
The cement dust was scary enough for me !

+1. I was first car out in the afternoon over the cement dust. Must admit I backed off to about 80 mph entering Coppice, but the front end was distinctly " lively ".
However, thanks o the Cadwell staff for the reflex blue paint job.......shame the white elements of it washed off in the 4.30 downpour. The A46 was distinctly " lively " on Toyo 888s too.....

Apparently, it/she/I tank-slapped left, then right, then left again, then three full 360's up the remainder of the straight and off up the grass .... and only a scratched N/S splitter and a change of underpants to report as 'damage' However the busa engin'd car asked if he could go out again, later in day.

Have to say I'm simply amazed at how well that dust gets the track back grippy again.. I was much slower for the next session, gradually getting quicker again and not far of full beans again later in the afternoon and it felt fine. Credit to the staff for sorting the track out.

Mike, stop pissing about with track days , buy a race car, and come racing with the DTEC boys! Thanks to TVRCC for a cracking day. I had a session with Andy, one of the instructors, and he was really informative and positive.
Having just sold my T350c I was the guy in the WRX. My car looked to be twice the size of the Tivs. I enjoyed the bends more than the straights!
Look forward to next year.

as an "aspiring T350 owner" it was a great day and was made welcome by all the people that chatted
a big thank you to Bernie for giving me the go ahead to obtain a passenger wristband and also Dom (Shorts) for the incredible handful of laps in his car - car fealt superb with fast and smooth driving :-)
The journey home was superb trying to keep up (failing) with Steve and then also catching up with the Sag for a short while - bangs, crackles and pops - EPIC
hoping to be in a T350 by the end of the year !!!
Oh and will post some pics up when I get a moment
