Possible to repair slightly buckled rim on Gen 2 RS ?

OPC diagnosed an out of true front center lock rim when replacing a tyre. Replace cost will be ££££ plus painting. I'm wondering could it be repaired ? Comming back from Austria last month at high speed on the Autobahns there was no wobble or judder and the car drove dead straight yet the tech at the OPC was able to show us the inside edge of the rim was buckled. If it can be repaired, then where ?
It is possible to repair a slightly dented CL rim. My 3.8RS had a slight steering shimmy at 80-90mph from the word go. One of the front wheels carried a suspiciously large amount of weight (over 100g)
Took it to Reading for investigation where the wheel was rebalanced with an equally large amount of ballast. Result: no change.
Upon replacing the tyres at Micheldever the fitter called me in to say that the wheel in question had a relatively high level of lateral runout compared to the other 3.
I spoke to OPC Byfleet who said that they could send the wheel to Lepsons for them to inspect and, if possible, tweak.
Result: straight wheel, no shimmy, sweetness and light. Cost £150 plus VAT.
