I'm going to fit a new set of boots to the front wheels on my 400 Chimaera. My current plan is to fit Bridgestone SO3s - is this the preferred choice of PHers? They seemed to do very well in the AutoCar test last week and I have SO2s on at the moment.

Also, I have read on PH that having the wheels laser aligned on Tuscans can make a massive difference to their handling. Does the same go for Chimaeras?

Just put SO3s on mine, haggled a good price with the local supplier based on www.mytyres.co.uk price, just over £400 fitted. Mind you, we had to drive the car onto wood blocks before they could get a jack under the car.

Oh yes, and get them to put something soft on the jack to prevent scratching the chassis coating.

Tyres feel very similar to the SO2s.
