Sorry to have to report that the F40 won't be there. I'm told that the pump for the ride height hydraulics has failed and there's no way it will be sorted for Sunday.

The good news is that Lawrence and I will definitely be attending in a Ferrari 575M (Fiorano, Manual).

Hopefully the F40 will be able to attend at a future date, but in the mean time I'm looking forward immensely to Sunday.

Sorry Slinky, but you'll have to up date the list again.

Cheers

Steve

Passenger rides are freely available to all those wishing to have one by the way. Just ask Lawrence on the day and I'll vacate my seat......now where's that Lambo.

A great shame, but it's not like we're losing out!

I'll have a dig around for the 575F stats..

Even if it is that somehow just isn't the case.

(Nice second car by the way! )

Lawrence seems to think VMAX speeds will be pretty similar, it's just the F40 would get there quicker. He tracked the 575M at Silverstone at an FOC day recently and was finding his terminal speeds were the same as he could achieve in the F40.

He asked me about grub on the day....did I hear somebody say ratburgers? What are they then?

Hi Blowdog,

It's not my 575 sadly. It's a proper spec rosso corsa/nero.

Cheers

Is that the name on the van, or the contents of the burger? Do they have cheese on?

The trick is not to question, think, worry or look at them: just eat.

Quite conceivably so: on the Hangar Straight recently, I had a devil of a job getting ahead of a 550, never mind a 575.

These cars are phenomenal by anyone's standards and it's the preponderance of mega grunt across the power band board that endows them with such crushing titanicism.

I, for one, look forward to questionable relations involving this vehicles exhaust pipes.

It could well be the star of the show.

(Hail to the owner, btw )

Not quite sure what you're getting at here, but if its rude, I'm not convinced you'll be allowed to have such a "relationship" with the car. Sorry.

I'm not aware that the car is Tubi'd by the way, I think it's running a standard exhaust, but I may very well be wrong.

I got Tubi to satisfy the aural fetishists. Hopefully, just the backboxes will suffice.

It would be interesting to know what speed you were pulling before Stowe. My DL1 suggests the CSL gets to 146 mph there...but the GSXR speedo nudges 174mph.

Next VMax, Bikes MUST come!
