Another indicator thread

This might seem a bit random but I have a minor issue with the wedge, when I indicate it doesnt self cancel (not the end of the world) BUT I cant see the lights ( top of the steering wheel in the way) and I cant hear the relay clicking over the engine. Has anyone had this issue before? if you did how did you cure it? or how do I wire in a loud buzzer so I dont drive down the road indicating at nothing.

Hi Mate..Normally there is a cancelling notch or gap that lines up with the rear of the steering wheel..level the front wheels up and remove the steering wheel and have a look..I have two little pins that slot into a plastic collar that cancels the indicator stalk...Although i must add..Sometimes!..

There is usually a collar of some kind around the steering column that flicks the pin on the stalk to cancel it, at least it was on my old Escort. The collar was made of plastic and the lug had broken off but it was easy to find and replace.

Could be the same on the wedge I guess???
