Pic to come but Pip is the 3rd rescue car in as many years. Ryu and Isy are still here. Isy was apparently part of a litter found in a disused car engine bay. Pip seems to have had a tough start in his first 5 months. He has spent the last couple of weeks at a vet's recovering having been thrown out the window of a 5th floor flat then dumped at a vet's door step. He had 2 green stick style leg fractures, a fractured jaw, lost his front teeth and bruised his lungs. Aside from the checks to make sure he is on track and being a little timid he seems to be doing well.

He's got his own room where he is separated from the other 2 for the time being but there is 'supervised' play time. We have to stop him from playing too rough and he'll be ready to mix it round the house on his own devices in a couple of weeks.

This is the first cat I've seen who will play fight with you but not use any claws. Gradual introductions start very soon smile and then I am sure the mayhem will begin soon after biggrin

Awww... frown / smile

Poor thing's had a rough start - how anyone could do such a thing to a defenceless animal is beyond me.

Oh, and pics please.

I forgot how light and floppy kittens can be. This one seems to be a little bit scared when you approach him, but will happily bat you on the hand, run and then hide and then repeat again. He doesn't seem stressed or scared unlike Isy who is noticeably grumpy and growly now that Pip is in the house.

Ah, we had a Pip as a rescue, grumpy little grey thing but we loved him all the same. Succumbed to a diabetic coma 3 years ago. Still miss him poor little thing.

If I email a pic can anyone host it for me? I've only got access to a tablet and phone and neither will upload to tinypic or similar and those websites are blocked from work frown

He's so cute, such a shame that he's had a hard time but it looks like he's landed lucky - plenty of toys to play with and magazines to read too wink

Thanks MC. There is an Evo magazine just out of shot but he fancied turning the pages of the Porsche mag as I was reading it then thought he would keep hold of it. He's got that room all to himself for a couple of weeks until recovered and all the cats are getting on.

He's coming out of his shell more now. As each day passes he is more playful, more vocal and more confident smile

He's gorgeous.

Strangely, I also had a cat called Pip who was a tabby smile

After less than a week in his own room and getting used to the house he has been let loose with the other 2 now. Isy who is the girl and was the youngest growls a bit but otherwise they all seem to be plating together fine. Pip is doing the usual kitten thing and bothering the other cats when they are resting and getting a warning slap!

Pip is supposed to be on kitten food but they all seem to eat each others anyway smile

Here he is one month later. Even the gap from 5 to 6 months shows how much growing a kitten does. His appetite is very strong and I can tell he is going to be a strong, brave, confident and dominant cat when older.

Here he is having a rest with older sister but now similar size Isy:

Here he is playing tin foil football with the oldest Ryu:
