Fortunately for us lazy British linguists, help is now available in this technical age.

This makes me wonder. When British holidaymakers abroad go shopping, do they hold up their tablet computers when being served? It must look like a Monty Python sketch. wink

However, at least we might be better at arithmetic.
Euro 190m divided by 37.5 times 100 equals Euros 507m (not 940 million).

....................................

Carlos Tavares, who left his position as number 2 Renault last month, is tipped to take charge of Aston Martin, according to the Wall Street Journal. Carlos Tavares, who could not be reached, had said when he left that he was ready to lead a global automaker.

Its mission is to oversee the improvement of existing models and the creation of new models at the time of the Jaguar Land Rover and Bentley competitors have launched luxury SUV. His profile could match that search the car brand, as it is a fan of motorsport and even engaged in the conduct of competition in his spare time.

Only caveat: reputation in the automotive world is rather that of a "cost-killer", probably a necessary skill but not necessarily "glamor" in the closed environment of luxury cars, Aston Martin has, for example the emphasis on the development of high-end vehicles such as the new Fast-S engine which has 5.9-liter V-12.

Aston Martin is owned by the Italian fund Investindustrial, which has put on the table 190 million euros to hold a 37.5% stake in the British automaker, which valued Aston Martin up from 940 million 'euros.

In an interview with Bloomberg earlier this month Tavares, 55, admitted that he was unlikely to succeed Carlos Ghosn, 59, as CEO of the company, instead saying that he had aspirations to move to head a global US car manufacturer such as General Motors or Ford.

Their song came into my head when I read his name too smile And I'm only 43.

(Are you allowed to use "only" and "43" in a sentence like that?).

I’ve never owned a Renault, could it be "The Love I Never Had"? Or perhaps it’s "Too Late."

The performance would now feel like a "Slow Train to Newport Pagnell"
