where to have my new tyres fitted - hampshire/surrey

I managed to get some rear tyres for my 997 S for £245.

I now need to find a place to have the tyres fitted. I am located in hampshire/surrey borders.

Any recommendations? the ones ive used in the past have scratched my alloys and I want them looking pristine.

Just in case the name comes up, Roadwheel Tyre and Exhaust in Fleet can be given a wide berth ...

Martin's Tyres in West End (just south of Bagshot) are normally pretty happy to fit tyres and are normally good on not damaging wheels. They are always really busy and often have quite tasty cars there....

OPC guildford have done mine in the past.

Not sure if its something they'd do as a one off tho, I had mid in for a major service and asked if they'd swap rears at same time. (I supplied tyres)

They did, and did a top job too.

I drove many miles out of my way the other day to see these guys for 4 new Pilot Sports on my Spyder. They deserve their reputation. They very closely check over your alloys and agree the state of them before they fit the tyres. I very much appreciate this bit because mine are pristine, and they still are.

Not sure if they'll fit tyres they haven't sold to you, but worth a call.

I used Kwik Fit in Fleet to fit two rear tyres to my V8 Vantage.
They were careful, did the job correctly ( followed torque procedure as per the manual ). Another AM owner had pointed me in their direction.

I went to Roadwheel in Fleet beforehand, wasn't impressed and walked. Maybe they were just in Friday afternoon mode...


Or Merit Tyres in Hook , I know a couple of Aston owners that have had tyres changed there. I had my fronts done there in 2012 - but live in Fleet and was just extremely lazy this time - also i had bought the tyres from them. You would have to call and see if they will fit tyres bought elsewhere and how much fitting will cost. Good guys though.....

I have used Micheldever for my GT3RS and A3 for years.

They have alignment bays, and also a "fit at home service" based on a van with all the kit in it. I've used this to fit tyres bought elsewhere and to switch tyres from one set of wheels to another.

Last purchase in August 2013 was a set of Michelin PS2 which were no more expensive than anyone else on the web.

They also have a booking service with a loyalty card - phone up, book a time and get them fitted in the specialist bays instead of queueing with joe public.

Yep, took a chunk out of one of the spokes on my 18'' carerra alloys. First denial, then acceptance, then repair (of sorts). My one and only experience of them.
