I think it's meant to be transferable, so factor it into the price of the car!

Once paid its paid and no refund - irrespective of whether transfer taken up or not.

I didn't get a refund, although there were only 3 months left. I just cancelled it to make sure they didn't auto renew from my bank account.

Thanks, just checking I wasn't being fobbed off by the OPC/Cobra as I was under the impression that it did as it was shown on my invoice with a zero value against it so assumed it was included.

Or no fee if you don't want it activating (but who wouldn't want it?).

I chose not to activate it because my insurance premium was higher with it than without it (admiral).

Others might not want their stolen car recovered, just in case Dirty Mike and the boys have held a soup kitchen in there.

In some EU countries I think the tracker company can actually immobilise the car ( something like it shuts down at the first set of traffic lights or when switched off or both ). Is this a UK option ?

Is it possible to track it yourself using your own phone and the Porsche VTS either with the Cobra Subscription or another company using the VTS.

I wouldn't for one. Once it's gone, it's gone. I'd rather have the cash.
