Hi does anyone know which Bodyshops BMW Park Lane use ?
Are they off site ?
Are they third party contractors ?
And are they any good ?

As far as I am aware they have no BMW Bodyshop on site in their Battersea or Nine Elms sites.

They use a company located in Battersea called Jw spray smart.

I know that these guys use them for panel resprays and full wheel refurbs.

I have made use of them both through BMW and direct.

I think they are decent guys and they do some really late shifts.

I picked up my car at 8 pm after a wheel refurb.

Thanks for that.

That's funny because I rang up today and the guy on the phone when u requested to speak to the Bodyshop department at PL says they use a Bodyshop in Heathrow which is the same one apparently they use in Bracknell. And PL are in partnership and affiliated with this Bodyshop. (His words)

So am confused :-( ?

Maybe you're right, that body shop will more than likely cater for larger repairs and not smaller ones.

FYI, they have a spray booth so their smart repairs are performed in more a of a controlled environment and not on the side of the forecourt!

Well, according to BMW it is in Battersea at their 'BMW Battersea Centre' http://www.bmwparklane.com/service/bodyshop.html by 'BMW approved technicians'.

All I know is that when they cracked my E39's bumper a couple of years the repair they did was st. I had it done by a proper bodyshop when the repair showed through. Wouldn't ever go back.

They all seem to suffer from the outer sill bubbling that yours has.

Could potentially be a stone chip from getting in and out of tight space from my feet when I park in the garage. I don't know.
