Does anyone know if it's possible to easily get (eg on the 'net) rough dimensions of standard windscreens, side windows etc?
If someone is making a one-off, there are possibly many easily to source/cheaply available windows - it's just a case of finding it!
At least with some dimensions it would be possible to easily eliminate some.

Windscreens can be made to order, same with rear and sides.

But if you want to rely on donor vehicle glass...

Not a specific - just wonder if this sort of info is easily available.

Be cheeky and give Richard Oakes a bell. A lot of his creations have used windscreens off production cars.

The Quantum saloon used mk2 Fiesta glass for the front and rear screens, also the rear side windows were mk2 - The front screen was raked at a shallower angle than on the Fiesta, and the door glass used was Vauxhall Astra GTE, so no quarterlight either (unlike Fiesta). A good solution, but you could hunt for ages to find something to fit like this. There must be an easy way!

Speak to Pilkingtons. My Bonito needed a mid 60's Ford Taunus windscreen. Chances of finding an origial especially laminated was zero. Pilkingtons made me a new one from laminated glass for £200. When I picked it up I saw they have formers for all sorts of exotic stuff. Have a word with them they may let you have a rummage with a tape measure.

Whilst a screen from a Morris Marina may be just the ticket for your kitcar bare in mind that for IVA the glass will have to have the later E marking. The old kite mark is no longer valid so a salvaged old screen cannot be used.
