Classifieds defaulting to include sold items

Since I ticked "show sold items" every time I now look at the classifieds this appears as a default, even when I clear it and clear cookies - how do I stop it doing this

This is really annoying, who wants to search on a sold car? It resets every time you try a new search.

It does this by default aka the programmed nature of the site.

It was the same on the old site and was missed so we changed the default behaviour.
