Looking for a TVR/6g72 build
Discussion
Hey there.
My name is Scotty and I frequent a site called 3si.org (Mitsubishi 3000GT/VR4/Dodge Stealth + JDM GTO) and a thread or two was started with a TVR/6g72 build. Now this member SSX hasn't been back since 2009 and there are a few of us who would love to see how this ended up going. I posted up at GTOUK but they pointed me in your direction so I'm hoping someone here has heard about this build and can then give me another direction to go in.
Here is an updated post from 06/09/2007:
No pictures as yet, theres a lot happening all in parallel!!!
I've ordered all the gear, most of its going together this coming week....
got a huge stonking oil cooler, 21"x7" side feed 10AN.
Custom Racing ECU, gonna run fully sequential injection and coil per cylinder, 6 x 680cc injectors.
Custom intake manifold, will be sticking out of hood!!! being worked on right now.
I tell ya, its been a nightmare, keeping track of ALL the Aeroquip fitments I needed... want to go all steelbraided and Aeroquip in the engine bay...
Twin Throttlebody setup, with twin HKS SSQ v2 BOV's, Electronic turbo-boost controller and timer, stainless braided vacuum hoses, ordered.
The BMW gearbox shifting is silky smooth, all mounted in with engine and custom bellhousing, just waiting for the main driveshaft (propshaft) to turn up, and the custom clutch which is a hack of a GTO clutch with a BMW centre disc.
Went for the MagnaFuel ProStar EFI 600 fuel pump. Pre filter is a 100micron Aeromotive jobbie and the post filter is a 10micron Aeromotive unit.
Went 10AN all the way through for the fuel lines and Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator. Weld on 10AN fittings for the fuel rails. 10AN Y-block to feed both rails.
Twin intercooler (plate and bar) setup, independant per turbo.
Custom radiator (plate and bar).
2 x 14" Permacool "fingerchopper" 3000cfm radiator fan, custom shroud (needs fabrication).
PLX wideband controller with guage.
twin EGT and EGT gauges
oil temp and oil pressure gauges
coolant temp and fuel pressure gauges.
Speedo/tach/odometer LCD dash.
Now I gotta find some cash to cover the respray and all the bling bling polishing work when we get there....
ETA currently for getting everything together is just round the corner now.
There are some pics up on the website already www.tvrgto.com
I'll get more up soon.
Just wanted to say that this forum is one hell of a resource! thanks all who run this 3SI show! without this forum, my project would not have even been considered. Its a bloody database, but its a nightmare digging out old threads, some as far back as 2003!

This is his last post on the build:
Hi all!!!
Everything has been taking waaayyyy toooo long.
But, finally, bodyshop has given me the official time of 3 weeks to completion of new bodyshell design work.
In the meantime, I had a guy set up a new website for me...
TVR Nemesis
Will be back with finished bodywork pics!!!!
Hopefully someone here can help.

Well, come back and tell us what you found, SXS aka Ash has a lot of history on this site and used to be a prolific poster in the Cerbera section of the forum. Rumours were that he may have ended up somewhere where internet access was limited should we say.
As well as that seemingly unfinished Cerbera he was also behind the other unfinished Cerbera, Project Phoenix that was meant to be 1000hp and got as far as finishing the shell and having a rolling chassis but the engine was never completed and the last I saw of it was it rotting round the back of Austec.
Genuinely interested to know if you've tracked him down or not though and if this Nemesis one was ever completed or not.
