Just a quick question - having looked at the weather, are you planning on taking your P&J down? It's the Fezza or Focus choice....as much as I want to take the 360 I don't want to be stuck in a muddy field.

As the only other time I've been to the Revival has been via minibus (it was my stag!) I don't know anything about the parking and whether the fields have mesh on them etc.

Thanks!

The parking fields are a bit boggy at present eek. It hasn't put anyone off bringing their exotics / classics thus far though hehe.

Are you mad? Do you have any idea how much fun that car park is when the grass is wet? RWD, flat plane crank V8 howling, doing 360s in a 360, heaven.

Well the Ferrari won over...and performed faultlessly.

Fields are in a bit of a state, cars stuck when I left at 7.30 tonight. It's still pouring down, tomorrow and Sunday could be interesting.... Can't believe there aren't any mats on the entrance/exit.

Great day, made even better by not getting stuck!

Oh and handily, roadworks on a27. Very handy

Parking was fine for me and getting the Cerbera out this eve was uneventful.
However, the fields were starting to get a bit muddy and boggy and that was before the real rain came after 6pm.
If it has been raining non stop since then, I predict there could be a few issues tomorrow and Sunday- hence the Range Rover tomorrow!

Morgan worked fine today but would imagine it will get tricky if the rain keeps up. Did get a nice oversteer out of the car park on wet mud though!

Just moved my car from one end of the field to the other and it felt like I had no control of the vehicle and that's in a FWD!!

My E class Merc struggled at 6.00 a.m. today getting in. Had to go off the roped road line across grass to gain traction. Think we'll take the little Volvo tomorrow, it gets us out of all sorts of sticky situations.

Cars parks getting worse and worse.
Tax Free car park not too much of a problem as there is a metal gangway bringing you in but you might need to navigate an additional field before you get to that bit- everyone else is going to have plenty of fun/ struggle tomorrow- especially if it rains again.
No prob in the 4x4 but if you are in a rear wheel drive automatic be prepared!

We left about 4pm in the pouring rain and whilst the car park was getting bad, it was definitely manageable. No problems at all in the 3 series with 5 people on-board... same couldn't be said for the MX-5 that decided to skip the queues and go down the route that the tractors were churning up though biggrin

I was jealous of his sideways action until it turned into more of a downwards motion and there was a fairly unhappy looking Disco stuck behind him biggrinbiggrin

I left after the presentations. It was slippery, but perfectly manageable. The metal runway at the bottom of the field helped. There were no issues with traffic at that time either.

I left at a similar time, I had the problem of parked next to the main gate which meant the furthest from the exit but sticking to the grass and avoiding the roped track that has turned to mud I had no real issues.
