Anyone with experience of rattles or squeaks when the roadster or volante roof is up, and what are the common causes? I can't locate it exactly; sounds like front near-side where it meets the windscreen.
I suggest you wipe silicon spray liberally over the rubber seals around the roof to eliminate any squeaks from the seals. I'f that doesn't stop it then you know it is not from the perimeter of the roof bur somewhere else in the mechanism.
Had the same problem on my Vantage roadster the noise stopped if the other half just pushed on the roof above the sun visor, found it was the locking catch rattling against the header rail.
Stuck a felt pad between the locking catch and roof and all stopped.
