I've come across Twisted before, and I can appreciate what they do, and why. They seem good at it, and although their cars are obviously marmite, they no doubt sell well enough to their target market.

I've seen their Sale ad's on their own website before, and admittedly, the price has been steep at around £60-70k, however this popped up on my Facebook earlier...

Obviously it's got an engine swap, but surely that can't possibly sell for knocking on £140k?!

It seems a colossal amount of money for what I imagine is a GM V8?

I may get shot down for saying this, but, I think its a lot of car for the money.

That's what I'm not sure about?

I can't work out if it is or isn't.

You can get a lot of car's with GM V8's for a lot less than that, I'm not knowledgeable on them generally though so I'm not sure on the cost really, and I guess there'll be a fair whack in the drivetrain and suspension.

I think it's just the cost, £140k is a LOT of money, no matter how you look at it. Personally, I'd prefer that to a Lamborghini, just because it floats my own boat a bit more, but I was just stunned at the cost of it.

Thats what I though to be fair, thats a lot of modifications, some of them by the looks of it custom built.

By the time you've added up parts and labour etc they might not make as much as you'd first think off of a sale.

A lot of money for the car, yes.

Even including R&D and bespoke work that thing must have one hell of a mark up percentage on it. Still, they'd probably only need to sell 1 a year for the company to make mass profit and keep them all employed without needing to do any other work.

Mental money for a car without independent locking differentials, unless I've misunderstood "Torque Bias Pegged Differentials"

Even I doubt they'll make that much mind laugh

It's a used vehicle too, not new. Wonder if it's typo and should be £37k, not £137k.

Even at £37k that still seems rather pricey.

I think that's their demonstrator they had at Goodwood. If so, it's a hell of a thing.

£37k would be a steal, I think you're talking around £27k for a used 110 at factory spec at that mileage, never mind with those mods.

Definitely not a typo, most of their stock is around the 60-70k mark.

Probably about the same as an RHD G63 AMG!

A top end specced up factory 110 is around £34k. We had one. I can see this is an engine swap but it's still loony money as are their mildly tarted up versions for £55k+.

It's all s bit Kahn...

Still, I bet it's fun though.

For that money they could at least have done an LPG conversion on it...

It's not 'used' as such, it's their prototype vehicle

Test driven by Autocar amongst others

It'd be in my lotto garage!

I've got the spec sheet (plus price) for a similar demonstrator, I'm having trouble trying to upload it from my phone. I'll try again when I've got my laptop.

I have seen a couple and although they are nice conversions there are other companies who can do similar work for less money. If I had that sort of money to spend on an off roader my money would go on a Bowler EXR for £145K.
